Once built, it requires a substantial amount of power to operate, which can be provided by the large generator. This generator, found in the ancient tech tree at level 49, needs 200 P metal ingots and 200 electric organs. It is more efficient than the small generator, can accommodate two Pals working simultaneously, and, when combined with a pylon, can power one or two crude oil extractors, depending on your power skills.
Placing the Extractor Crude oil extractors must be placed on oil nodes. Once powered, they will slowly extract oil from the ground without further input from your Pals.
